DLoG GmbH announces an OEM partnership with Datalogic Mobile:

Datalogic Mobile extends its product portfolio with DLoG X-series industrial computers

Olching and Bologna, 22nd September 2008 – Datalogic Mobile and DLoG GmbH announce the agreement of a global OEM contract on Sep 1st, 2008. Accordingly, Datalogic Mobile will expand in the future market by distributing DLoG X-series industrial computers as a part of their own R Series™ product portfolio – robust computers based on Windows CE for mobile applications.

The technological basis of the OEM partnership is founded on DLoG X-series terminals. The touch screen terminals are designed up to protection class IP67 for dust and waterproofing in an aluminum housing with a fanless design, and are available as 7-inch (X7), 10.4-inch (X 10) and 12.1-inch (X12) models. Datalogic Mobile will distribute the high-performance ARM architecture units under their own R Series™ brand name with a Windows-CE operating system. R Series™ stands for robust, vehicle mountable terminals that are especially suited for demanding applications in extreme environments with operating temperatures from -30 to +50°C (-22 to 122 °F).

The manufacturer DLoG GmbH is convinced to have found in Datalogic Mobile a long-term stable partner for the growing regional and vertical distribution of DLoG X-series products. “Datalogic Mobile, a global player in the market for fully rugged mobile computers, can expand its product portfolio with industrial computers developed and manufactured by DLoG and thereby also tap new target groups and regions‘, explains DLoG CEO Hans-Peter Nüdling.

“As we work very closely and trustingly with our OEM partners such as Datalogic Mobile, also with regard to ongoing product developments or roadmaps, our OEM partners are distinguished as direct comprehensive contact persons for all their users’ needs”, states Nüdling. At the same time, DLoG places high value on clearly stated rules within its own national and international partner program – this ensures DLoG´s loyalty and gives DLoG’s partners and end-customers security with regard to their investment.

“Datalogic Mobile has found in DLoG the ideal partner to further expand in the Warehouse market, and the most natural complement to its wide range of mobile computers”, says Francesco Montanari, Vice President General Manager at Datalogic Mobile. “The R SeriesTM product line is fully customized specifically for Datalogic Mobile, including our distinctive software tools, above all the recently announced Wavelink Powered program. This makes Datalogic Mobile the first player in the AIDC market to have Wavelink Terminal Emulation and Wavelink Avalanche pre-installed and pre-licensed on its entire warehouse product range.”
